Using Verbs After But
When using verbs after but, watch for 3 points: 
     * What tense is the verb?
     *What kind of verb is it? (to be/other verbs)
     *Is the main sentence affirmative or negative?
AFFIRMATIVE
but NEGATIVE Look at these changes:
Jack's happy,
but Jill isn't. he is -> but she isn't
Susan's tired,
